About the Role
We are a first-mover in AI-powered kitchen automation, building intelligent robotic systems that automate high-value, repetitive, and hazardous tasks in commercial kitchens such as frying, grilling, and food preparation.
As an AI/ML Engineer , you will work on building and optimizing the core intelligence that powers real-world robotic systems. This includes perception, planning, machine learning, real-time inference, and edge deployment. Your work will directly impact safety, speed, and efficiency in large-scale kitchen operations.
This is a hands-on role for engineers passionate about applied AI in real robotic environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, train, and optimize AI/ML models for robotic perception, decision-making, and real-time performance
Conduct experiments to improve model accuracy, robustness, and generalization across diverse and dynamic environments
Collaborate with software, hardware, and robotics teams to integrate AI models into the robotic stack
Build and maintain data pipelines for continuous training, evaluation, and deployment
Optimize models for real-time inference on embedded GPU hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson)
Improve system performance under challenging conditions such as heat, steam, occlusion, variable lighting, and rapid human movement
Develop ML systems for activity recognition, anomaly detection, quality assessment, and behavior prediction
Implement monitoring and feedback loops to detect model drift and drive continuous improvement
Stay updated with advancements in computer vision, robotics ML, edge inference, and GPU acceleration
Required Qualifications
Strong background in AI/ML with hands-on experience in computer vision, robotics ML, or real-time edge intelligence
Experience with NVIDIA GPU acceleration, CUDA, TensorRT, and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow)
Proficiency in Python and Linux environments
Experience building, training, and deploying ML models in production or on embedded systems
Knowledge of robotic perception concepts such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, sensor fusion, or pose estimation
Ability to analyze and optimize performance for latency, throughput, and reliability on embedded hardware
Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional engineering teams
Desired Skills (Good to Have)
Experience in industrial automation, robotic manipulation, or kitchen automation
Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson ecosystem, Isaac, or TensorRT
Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)
Knowledge of reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or behavior cloning
Experience working in noisy, unstructured, real-world environments
Exposure to Agile tools such as JIRA
Strong attention to detail and passion for improving real-world robotic performance
