Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Head to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations in our consumer durable goods manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, process optimization, quality control, cost management, and team leadership while ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
- Improve production efficiency through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams for smooth production flow.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Control production costs, minimize waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
- Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate production teams to improve performance and productivity.
- Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and MIS to senior management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement abilities.
- Knowledge of quality systems, ISO standards, and EHS compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing consumer durable products such as home appliances, electronics, electrical products, kitchen appliances, or similar products.
- Proven track record of improving productivity, reducing costs, and leading large production teams.
- Familiarity with automation, production planning, and capacity optimization is preferred.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
