Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented EXIM Intern to support our Export-Import operations. This internship offers practical exposure to international trade documentation, customs procedures, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance. It is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or students aspiring to build a career in Export-Import and Supply Chain Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing export and import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and Bills of Lading.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), shipping lines, and logistics partners.
- Maintain and update shipment records and EXIM documentation.
- Track export and import shipments and provide timely status updates.
- Support in preparing and verifying shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in obtaining approvals, certificates, and licenses required for international shipments.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Procurement, Finance, Stores, and Quality for shipment-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and other applicable EXIM regulations.
- Prepare reports, maintain MIS, and organize EXIM-related records.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the EXIM Manager or Supply Chain team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Export-Import Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with certification or coursework in Export-Import or Logistics will have an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Export-Import processes and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
