Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB), with proven experience in gathering business requirements, designing billing solutions, configuring ORMB modules, and supporting end-to-end implementation projects. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore development teams to deliver scalable and efficient billing solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirement Gathering
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand and document complex business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution design documents.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements using ORMB capabilities.
ORMB Functional Configuration
- Configure Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) core modules based on business requirements.
- Set up pricing models, rate structures, billing cycles, account determination rules, and other billing configurations.
- Ensure configurations align with organizational policies and compliance standards.
Solution Design & Integration
- Work closely with technical teams to design integrations between ORMB and external systems or legacy applications.
- Support interface design, data mapping, and integration testing activities.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve functional design issues during implementation.
Data Migration
- Assist in planning and validating data migration activities from legacy billing systems to ORMB.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Prepare functional test scenarios, test cases, and validation documents.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Coordinate defect resolution with technical teams and business users.
Issue Resolution & Production Support
- Perform root-cause analysis for billing discrepancies and application issues.
- Troubleshoot ORMB functional configurations and resolve billing-related problems.
- Ensure data integrity and support continuous process improvements.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Facilitate requirement discussions, solution reviews, and project status updates.
- Support project documentation, knowledge transfer, and user training activities.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB).
- Experience in Requirement Gathering, Functional Design Documentation, and Business Process Mapping.
- Expertise in ORMB Core Modules, including:
- Pricing Models
- Rate Structures
- Billing Cycles
- Account Determination
- Invoicing & Payment Processing
- Experience working on ORMB Integrations and Data Migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of Transactional Framework Management (TFM).
- Experience preparing and executing SIT and UAT.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Required Experience
- 5–11 years of IT experience with significant exposure to Oracle Revenue Management & Billing.
- Successfully delivered 2–3 full lifecycle ORMB implementation or upgrade projects.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
- Ability to work with cross-functional, distributed, and offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Oracle ORMB functional certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with Oracle Utilities ecosystem is preferred.
