Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting New Product Development (NPD) activities in sheet metal manufacturing.
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements, collect feedback, and incorporate necessary changes into product development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the production team for manufacturing processes and product improvements.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure smooth execution of new product development projects.
- Learn and work on design software such as AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS for product design and development activities.
- Prepare and modify 2D/3D drawings, support design changes, and ensure accuracy of manufacturing drawings.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement design/process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation of new products before production release.
- Identify manufacturing challenges and provide solutions in coordination with production and engineering teams.
- Ensure timely completion of new product development projects as per customer requirements and specifications.
