The Account Executive is responsible for managing customer accounts, driving sales of diesel/gas generator sets, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring timely order execution and payments. The role involves coordination with internal teams and clients across industries such as construction, infrastructure, telecom, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for gensets and related services
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals
- Handle inquiries, tenders, and negotiations
2. Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Act as the main point of contact for customer queries and requirements
- Ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
3. Order Processing & Coordination
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and service teams for timely delivery
- Track order status and keep customers updated
- Ensure proper documentation (POs, invoices, dispatch details)
4. Payment Follow-ups
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely payment collection
- Resolve billing or commercial issues with clients
5. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
- Provide feedback to management for strategy improvement
6. Technical Understanding
- Basic understanding of gensets (diesel/gas generators), capacity (kVA), applications
