A Service Desk Analyst and Asset Manager is a hybrid IT role. It blends first-line user support with the tracking, procurement, and maintenance of organizational hardware and software. This professional acts as a central point of contact for technical issues while safeguarding company inventory and data.

Core Responsibilities
User Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the first point of contact for end-users reporting technical issues via phone, email, or chat.

Incident Management: Diagnose, resolve, or escalate hardware and software problems, tracking every ticket from creation to closure.

Asset Lifecycle Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals), monitoring their location, status, and assignment.

Procurement & Provisioning: Manage the deployment, setup, configuration, and secure disposal of equipment.

Software Licensing: Track software licenses to ensure compliance and prevent unauthorized usage or expiration.

Documentation: Maintain knowledge base articles, FAQ materials, and standard operating procedures to help end-users.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Troubleshooting: Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS), enterprise applications, and network connectivity.
