Nursery Teacher (NTT) Position: Nursery Teacher (NTT) Reports To: Pre-Primary Coordinator / Principal Purpose of the Role To provide a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the physical, emotional, social, language, and cognitive development of children through play-based and activity-based learning. Key Responsibilities 1. Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the Early Childhood Education curriculum. 2. Foster children's language, literacy, numeracy, creativity, and life skills through play-way methods. 3. Maintain a warm, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment. 4. Ensure the safety, health, hygiene, and well-being of every child at all times. 5. Observe, assess, and maintain records of each child's developmental progress. 6. Prepare teaching-learning materials (TLM), activity sheets, and classroom displays. 7. Organize storytelling, rhymes, music, dance, art & craft, celebrations, and educational games. 8. Encourage good manners, positive behaviour, self-discipline, and social skills. 9. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and developmental needs. 10. Maintain attendance, assessment records, portfolios, and other school documentation. 11. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school events. 12. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programmes. 13. Follow school policies, child protection (POCSO), safety, and hygiene guidelines. 14. Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Principal. Essential Skills Love and empathy for young children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity and patience. Classroom management skills. Knowledge of child psychology and early childhood education. Ability to use activity-based and experiential teaching methods. Basic computer and digital teaching skills. Educational Qualifications Senior Secondary (10+2) with required marks as per applicable norms. Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education (NTT) / Early Childhood Education (ECE) / Pre-School Education or equivalent recognized qualification. Experience Freshers or experienced candidates in Nursery/Pre-Primary education may apply. Experience in a CBSE/recognized school will be preferred. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
