- Hands on experience with Staad Pro, Etabs, Prokon, Safe, & Idea Static
- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures using STAAD Pro and equivalent software in accordance with IS Codes and relevant international standards.
- Develop structural models, load cases, and load combinations including wind, seismic, equipment, thermal, and operational loads.
- Assist in preparing Design Basis Reports (DBR) and structural design philosophies. Produce clear, auditable design calculations and technical reports. Evaluate alternative structural schemes to achieve material efficiency, constructability, and cost optimization while maintaining safety margins.
- Apply practical engineering judgment to improve design effectiveness. Review and interpret AutoCAD drawings to ensure alignment with design intent.
- Coordinate with drafting teams and review 3D models using Tekla / Revit where applicable.
- Exposure to BIM-based coordination and model review will be considered an advantage Conduct self-checks and peer reviews of calculations and drawings prior to submission.
- Follow internal design checklists, templates, and quality procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and client requirements.
- Review vendor drawings such as equipment foundations, pipe racks, and technological structures.
- Coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary teams to obtain accurate design inputs.
- Participate in foundation design including sizing, load transfer evaluation, and interpretation of geotechnical investigation reports.
- Coordinate soil parameters and foundation strategies with geotechnical consultants
