Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional to manage DSCI's event databases and generate actionable business insights that support delegate acquisition, sponsorship sales, marketing campaigns, and strategic event planning. The role combines database management, market intelligence, business analytics, and reporting to enable data-driven decision-making across DSCI's event portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Database & CRM Management
Build, maintain, cleanse, enrich, and segment databases for delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, government officials, media, startups, and partners to ensure high-quality, actionable data.
Develop and maintain sector-specific databases aligned with DSCI's event portfolio.
Maintain CRM data integrity and ensure consistency across all systems.
Market Research & Data Enrichment
Conduct market research to identify target organizations, decision-makers, emerging companies, technology trends, and sponsorship opportunities while continuously enriching contact databases to support event growth.
Data Analytics & Business Insights
Analyse registration trends, attendee demographics, sponsor engagement, campaign performance, and event outcomes to generate actionable insights.
Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve registrations, sponsorship conversions, and marketing effectiveness.
Measure campaign performance, attendee engagement, conversion rates, and event ROI.
Conduct competitor benchmarking and trend analysis to support strategic planning.
Reporting & Dashboarding
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards for leadership using Excel, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
Present business insights through dashboards, charts, executive summaries, and visual reports.
Maintain event performance reports and historical data for future planning.
Event Operations Support
Provide targeted and segmented databases to sponsorship, delegate acquisition, and marketing teams.
Support email campaigns by preparing segmented mailing lists.
Coordinate with registration teams to maintain attendee data before, during, and after events.
Track registration progress and recommend interventions to achieve event targets.
Data Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy regulations and organizational policies.
Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of participant data.
Establish best practices for database management and documentation.

Required Skills
Strong analytical, research, reporting, and data visualization skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, and data validation.
Experience with CRM platforms and database management.
Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Excellent communication with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Applications, Marketing, Information Management, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in database management, business analytics, CRM, market research, or event operations.
Experience in conferences, exhibitions, industry associations, B2B events, or technology ecosystems is mandatory.
