JOB DESCRIPTION:
Laboratory operations and sand quality control.
Experience in testing moisture, permeability, compactability, GCS, AFS grain fineness, and clay content.
Knowledge of controlling bentonite, coal dust/sea coal, water, and other sand additives.
Basic experience in identifying and troubleshooting sand-related casting defects such as blowholes, sand inclusion, scabbing, and poor surface finish.
Experience in maintaining daily test reports, laboratory records, and sand quality control charts.
Familiarity with lab equipment handling, calibration, and routine maintenance.
Coordination with Production, Quality, Moulding, and Melting teams to maintain sand quality.
Knowledge of 5S, safety, housekeeping, and basic foundry quality practices.
