3-5 Years of Experience in real estate or civil construction sites.
Key Duties and Responsibilities1. Material Receipt & Inspection
- Unload and verify incoming deliveries (quantity and quality) against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Challans.
- Assist site engineers in conducting quality checks on critical construction materials like steel and cement.
- Inspect goods for transit damage and immediately report discrepancies to the Procurement department.
2. Inventory Management & Storage
- Organize the site storage yard and warehouses systematically, utilizing the First In, First Out (FIFO) method for perishable goods.
- Maintain optimal storage conditions to prevent deterioration of materials (e.g., keeping cement dry and elevated).
- Update Bin Cards and computerized inventory logs.
3. Material Issuance
- Issue materials, tools, and heavy machinery exclusively upon receiving authorized material requisitions (indents) from Project Managers or Site Engineers.
- Track high-value equipment and power tools being used on different floors of the high-rise tower to ensure safe return at the end of shifts.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly consumption reports alongside Junior Engineers to reconcile physical stock with book balances.
- Maintain records of empty cement bags, reusable formwork, and scrap materials.
- Process paperwork for surplus or damaged materials to facilitate vendor returns or disposal.
5. Site Safety & Security
- Restrict unauthorized entry into the store and enforce strict safety norms (e.g., storing inflammable items like solvents and paints in hazard-proof areas).
- Hand over and take charge of store security at shift changes
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
