Job Summary
We are seeking a Packaging Development Executive with experience in developing and commercializing packaging solutions for cosmetic or pharmaceutical products. The candidate should have hands-on experience in prototype development through both in-house resources and external vendors, with expertise in rigid and flexible packaging materials, particularly plastic and glass packaging, along with decorative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate packaging concepts and prototypes for new and existing products.
- Coordinate prototype development through in-house facilities and external vendors.
- Work on rigid and flexible packaging solutions with a strong focus on plastic and glass packaging components.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify packaging materials and suppliers.
- Conduct packaging trials and validations to ensure product compatibility and performance.
- Manage decorative processes such as screen printing, hot stamping, metallization, labeling, coating, embossing, and other value-added finishes.
- Prepare packaging specifications, technical drawings, and material standards.
- Coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Marketing teams for packaging development projects.
- Perform benchmarking studies and recommend innovative packaging solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and customer requirements.
- Support cost optimization and sustainability initiatives related to packaging materials and processes.
- Maintain project timelines and documentation for packaging development activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, structures, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in rigid and flexible packaging development.
- Understanding of plastic and glass packaging technologies.
- Knowledge of decorative and value-added packaging processes.
- Good project coordination and vendor management skills.
- Ability to conduct packaging trials, testing, and validation activities.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and packaging-related documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- PG Diploma in Packaging Technology.
- 2–5 years of experience in Packaging Development.
- Prior experience in Cosmetics or Pharmaceutical industry is essential.
- Experience in prototype development through in-house resources and external vendors.
- Knowledge of packaging specifications, testing, validation, and commercialization processes.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
