Job Summary
The Nursery Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 3–4 years. The teacher plans and implements age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, language, and cognitive development of every child while maintaining effective communication with parents and school authorities.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Develop children's foundational skills in language, numeracy, creativity, and motor development.
- Encourage curiosity, exploration, and independent learning.
- Use storytelling, rhymes, music, art, games, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
- Promote good manners, discipline, and positive behaviour.
2. Classroom Management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Organize learning corners, teaching aids, and educational resources.
- Ensure classroom discipline through positive reinforcement.
- Monitor children's safety during classroom activities, outdoor play, and school events.
3. Child Development & Assessment
- Observe and assess each child's developmental progress.
- Maintain student portfolios, observation records, and assessment reports.
- Identify children requiring additional academic or behavioural support and inform the Coordinator/Principal.
- Encourage the holistic development of every child.
4. Parent Communication
- Build positive relationships with parents through regular communication.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Share students' progress, achievements, and areas of improvement.
- Address parents' concerns professionally and promptly.
5. School Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programmes.
- Participate in school assemblies, celebrations, exhibitions, and annual events.
- Assist in organizing classroom displays and school functions.
- Follow all school policies, safety protocols, and child protection guidelines.
6. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance registers and daily lesson plans.
- Prepare worksheets, activity plans, and teaching-learning materials.
- Complete assessment records and documentation within deadlines.
- Ensure proper care of classroom resources and school property.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), Montessori Training, or an equivalent qualification.
- Excellent spoken and written English (preferred).
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Smart Classroom tools).

Experience
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may apply.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed preschool or school is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position as per school working hours.
- Participation in school events, PTMs, training sessions, and extracurricular activities may be required beyond regular classroom teaching hours.
Pay: ₹18,255.46 - ₹20,040.67 per month
