Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Student Counselor to guide aspiring students through their global education journey. You will expertly match students with ideal universities, manage the admission and visa processes, and provide end-to-end counseling for studying in top destinations like the Russia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazhakstan, Australia, China and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Profile Evaluation: Assess student academic backgrounds, career goals, and financial constraints to recommend suitable courses and universities.
- End-to-End Counseling: Guide students and parents through the entire study abroad lifecycle, including university shortlisting and application submission.
- Visa Assistance: Support students with visa documentation, interview preparation, and pre-departure briefings.
- Test Prep Guidance: Advise students on required standardized tests (IMAT, IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, GMAT).
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with university representatives and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth application processing.
- Target Achievement: Meet monthly and quarterly targets for student enrollments and visa conversions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience as an overseas education counselor or in a similar student advisory role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field; master’s degree or firsthand international study experience is a strong plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
- Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of global visa regulations, admission intakes, and university admission criteria.
