Position Summary
The Stores and Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse and materials management activities in support of Flowserve’s control valve manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate and timely receipt, storage, control, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, bought-out components, consumables, tooling, spare parts, and finished goods. The position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production continuity, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving disciplined warehouse practices. This position will be reporting to Manager – Materials and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all stores and warehouse activities, including receiving inspection support, storage, picking, packing, issuing, and dispatching materials

Ensure proper material identification, labeling, bin/location control, and adherence to FIFO or FEFO practices where applicable

Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or warehouse management systems

Coordinate material issue and return transactions for production, maintenance, quality, and engineering requirements

Monitor stock levels and support cycle counts, physical inventory, reconciliation, and root cause analysis of variances

Oversee inward and outward movement of materials, including finished goods, scrap, and returnable items

Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Logistics to support uninterrupted operations

Ensure safe handling of materials using forklifts, pallet trucks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment

Supervise warehouse personnel and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures

Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with EHS requirements and site standards

Support packing, documentation, and dispatch activities for customer shipments

Identify and help resolve shortages, nonconformances, damaged materials, obsolete stock, and inventory discrepancies

Drive improvements in storage efficiency, material traceability, and inventory control

Support audits, inspections, and investigations related to stores and inventory management
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, or a related discipline

10 to 15 years of experience in stores, warehouses, or materials management within a manufacturing environment

Prior experience supervising warehouse or stores teams

Strong understanding of inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations

Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems

Solid understanding of safety, housekeeping, and compliance requirements
Preferred Experience
- Experience in control valve manufacturing, precision engineering, or flow control manufacturing

Familiarity with raw materials, machined components, bought-out parts, and finished goods handling

Exposure to barcode systems, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation processes

Knowledge of export packing, dispatch, and logistics coordination

Experience with Lean, 5S, or similar warehouse improvement practices
