Senior Sales Engineer Air Compressor - 1 : Navi Mumbai (CBD Belapur)
Qualification : B.E Mechanical or Any Bachelor's Degree with 5 to 10 years of sales experience in air compressor
CTC - 6 lpa to 9 lpa (Plus mediclaim)
JOB SUMMARY :Responsible for achieving sales targets, developing new business, managing enquiries and quotations, ensuring order execution, and collecting payments while providing technical support and maintaining strong customer relationships in line with company objectivesand team handling .
Key Responsibility/DAILY JOB
· To map /Visit new business areas & to generate leads as per Strategic plan to increase market coverage.
· Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
· Acknowledgement of the received enquiry as well thanks giving email for allowing meeting time.
· Achieve target sales volume and turnover as per the target assigned by ELGI.
· Planning visits through cold calls, reference.
· To market new products & to promote new products in client group
· To assist the clients in making right decisions & to choose the right most product required as per their application and requirement.
· To suggest customers based on their business requirements.
· Make professional client presentations that promote price value advantage.
· To be technically equipped in all existing & new products arising in the electro-mechanical industry.
· Maintains a very good understanding of engineering principles, theories, concepts, and processes related to the product.
· Maintaining deal pipelines and client contact lists.
· Feeding the enquiry details into ERP/CRM.
· Authorization of the requirement shall be done from assigned authority.
· Quotations to be submitted within the 24 hrs for normal orders.
· Follow up and update with the customer on shared quotation
· To assist the clients with Quotations of the products offered
· To provide technical assistance to clients whenever required
· Final negotiation of the order.
· For Not receiving the order CSAT TO BE SENT TO THE CLIENT VIA EMAIL
· Order lost analysis reasoning
· After receiving the Purchase order acknowledgement to be share with customer.
· Analyze deviations against received as well as requirement to proceed further.
· Ensuring that Sales order has been prepared in the system and accordingly releasing of the sales order further.
· Sharing MEMO to assigned sales coordinator.
· Ensuring execution of the order from the sales coordinator.
· Execution of the order as per the delivery period agreed with the customer
· Sales and booking are achieved as per the targets agreed
· Ensuring Payments as per the agreed terms.
· Maintaining the debtor level to 20 days.
· (follow up for payments and receiving payments within agreed time frame).
· 10 % advances are collected.
· 25% for order booking to be with Performa.
· Invoice/payment against delivery terms.
· Execution of the order as per the delivery period agreed with the customer
· Sales and booking are achieved as per the targets agreed at the AOP.
· Ensuring 75% booking to billing conversion.
· Ensuring 100% collection of outstanding payment of the previous financial year in the first half of the financial year.
· Hit Ratio to be maintained at 100%.
· G.P margin to be maintained as per annual assigned target.
· All sales activity entries need to be updated on CRM/GTM/CVM on daily basis.
· Conveyance Voucher with supporting documents to be submitted weekly-Saturday
Weekly analysis report to be submitted to SBU Head on Saturday of every week. The report should consider of the following :
· Plan of visits for the next week.
· Visits made in the current week.
· Report on enquires Received and Allocation
· Quotations for the week
· Billing done
· Booking done
· Payment Collection on weekly basis
· Updates on CRM/CVM/GTM
(Please note: deviation report on all of the above to be mentioned with respect to previous week’s)
Prepare Quarterly strategy plan on achieving the quarterly target and submission to the SBU Head on 5th of first month of every quarter. The report should consider of the following :
1. Quarterly performance report of the last quarter
2. Quarterly strategy plan for the current quarter.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
· Providing technical and commercial assistance to customers and sales coordinator with respective to their scope of work.
Providing Memo of comprehensive details with respect to orders
VISITS/MEETINGS
Visiting top 25 Customers of the Respective SBU once in a month.
ORGANIZATIONAL POLICIES
· Adherence to the policies and decisions made by the CRI committee
Adherence and Implementation of Human Resource Policies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of electro-mechanical products / AIR Compressor
- Excellent Sales, negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to handle complex technical discussions.
- Strong customer relationship management, team management .
- Analytical skills for order-lost and deviation analysis.
- Effective reporting and planning capability.
