Job Title: Digital Marketing & PR Head (News Channel & Uniquo Group )
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Digital Marketing & PR Head to manage the digital presence, brand growth, and communication strategy for our news channel and multiple group companies. The candidate will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, managing social media operations, driving audience growth, handling PR activities, and building strong brand visibility across all digital platforms.
This role requires a combination of digital marketing expertise, media understanding, PR skills, leadership ability, and a strong understanding of content-driven growth. The candidate will oversee the news channel's digital operations while also managing marketing initiatives for five other companies under the group.
Key Responsibilities
1. News Channel Digital Management & Growth
* Take complete ownership of the news channel's digital presence and audience growth.
* Develop and execute strategies to increase followers, subscribers, reach, engagement, and brand visibility.
* Manage platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, website, and other digital platforms.
* Create strategies for breaking news promotion, viral content, reels, shorts, interviews, and special coverage.
* Work closely with reporters, editors, video editors, and designers to ensure effective content distribution.
* Analyze audience behavior, trends, and competitors to improve content performance.
* Develop campaigns to increase video views, website traffic, and audience retention.
* Maintain the channel's brand identity and digital reputation.
2. Digital Marketing Management for Group Companies
* Manage digital marketing strategies for five different companies under the group.
* Create customized marketing plans based on each company's business goals.
* Handle social media strategy, content planning, paid campaigns, and online branding.
* Develop monthly content calendars and marketing campaigns.
* Manage lead generation campaigns through Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms.
* Monitor campaign performance and optimize marketing budgets for better ROI.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for creative execution.
* Track competitor activities and identify new growth opportunities.
3. Public Relations & Brand Communication
* Develop PR strategies for the news channel and group companies.
* Build relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and industry professionals.
* Manage press releases, media coverage, brand announcements, and corporate communications.
* Identify opportunities for interviews, collaborations, partnerships, and media visibility.
* Handle brand reputation management and crisis communication.
* Monitor online reputation and audience sentiment
4. Social Media Strategy & Content Management
* Develop and execute social media calendars for all brands.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
* Create strategies for engagement, community building, and audience interaction.
* Analyze content performance and improve future campaigns.
* Stay updated with social media trends, algorithms, and digital marketing innovations.
* Guide content creators, designers, and video editors for effective output.
5. Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
* Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns.
* Manage advertising budgets across multiple brands.
* Track KPIs including:
* Cost per lead
* Conversion rate
* Website traffic
* Engagement rate
* Audience growth
* Campaign ROI
* Prepare monthly performance reports and improvement strategies.
6. Team Leadership & Management
* Lead digital marketing, social media, and creative teams.
* Assign responsibilities and monitor execution.
* Build efficient workflows between editorial, marketing, sales, and creative teams.
* Train team members on new digital trends and best practices.
* Manage freelancers, agencies, and external partners when required.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, PR, or Media Management.
* Experience handling multiple brands or companies preferred.
* Experience in news media, digital publishing, or content platforms is an advantage.
