JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring an experienced Production Manager to oversee production operations for a leading signage manufacturing company. The successful candidate will lead factory operations, optimize production efficiency, ensure quality standards, and support on-time project delivery across multiple signage manufacturing projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day factory operations for the production of indoor, outdoor, illuminated, LED, digital, architectural, and custom signage.
- Plan and monitor production schedules, manpower, machinery, and material utilization to meet project deadlines.
- Supervise fabrication, CNC routing, laser cutting, welding, digital printing, painting, assembly, finishing, inspection, packing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and company operating procedures.
- Coordinate machine maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and production efficiency.
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management, QA/QC, and Installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production team, machine operators, fabricators, welders, and technicians.
- Monitor production performance, labor utilization, material consumption, and manufacturing costs to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and ERP/MRP data.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant production management experience within signage manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience managing factory operations and production teams.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in signage manufacturing and production planning.
- Hands-on experience with CNC routing, laser cutting, metal fabrication, welding, digital printing, painting, finishing, and assembly.
- Good understanding of fabrication drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and signage materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, and basic CorelDRAW.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is an advantage.
