Oversees the entire international procurement process, ensuring goods enter the country efficiently, legally, and cost-effectively. Key responsibilities include managing compliance with customs regulations, coordinating logistics (freight forwarding), preparing documentation (bills of lading, invoices), and negotiating with suppliers to optimize supply chain performance.
1. Ensure all imports comply with local and international trade laws, tariffs, and customs regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on changing trade policies.
2. Prepare, review, and maintain required documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
3. Manage the end-to-end import process, including tracking shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
4. Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure cost-efficiency.
5. Coordinate with internal teams regarding inventory needs, warehousing, and distribution of imported goods.
6. Monitor and analyze import data, identifying potential compliance risks and implementing corrective actions.
7. Making entries in google sheets and preparing report.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
