Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lessons and activities aligned to Raising Cubs curriculum and learning outcomes, using play-based and inquiry approaches.
- Create an inclusive, stimulating and safe classroom environment that supports social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
- Conduct ongoing observation, assessment and documentation of each child’s learning; maintain portfolios and prepare progress reports.
- Manage classroom routines, transitions and behaviour positively using guidance strategies consistent with centre policy (no corporal punishment).
- Build strong relationships with parents/guardians through regular communication, meetings and written updates.
- Collaborate with centre staff and Head of Centre on planning, events, enrolment, and centre improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene protocols; participate in drills and maintain accurate incident records.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and trainings; share learning with peers.
- Support and supervise assistants, volunteers and interns as required.
- Maintain classroom resources, request supplies, and ensure tidy learning spaces.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Education (required)
- 1–5 years preschool experience preferred
- Knowledge of play-based / EYFS / NEP approach is a plus
- Basic digital skills (MS Office / documentation)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
