Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant HR Manager to support HR operations across our schools and junior colleges. The role will involve employee lifecycle management, recruitment, employee relations, attendance, documentation, compliance, and coordination with branch and academic teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage HR activities across multiple educational campuses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching and non-teaching positions across schools and junior colleges.
- Coordinate with branch heads, academic heads, and management to understand manpower requirements.
- Source, screen, shortlist, and coordinate interviews with suitable candidates.
- Handle joining formalities, document verification, and onboarding.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely closure of vacancies.
2. Employee Relations
- Address employee queries, concerns, grievances, and workplace issues professionally.
- Coordinate with management and department heads for employee-related matters.
- Conduct counselling and follow-up discussions wherever required.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
3. HR Operations
- Manage employee records, personal files, appointment letters, agreements, NDAs, and other HR documentation.
- Monitor attendance, leave, late coming, absenteeism, and related HR matters.
- Coordinate employee transfers, confirmations, renewals, resignations, and relieving formalities.
- Ensure timely completion of joining and exit formalities.
- Maintain accurate HR databases and trackers.
4. Performance & Employee Management
- Coordinate probation reviews, performance feedback, confirmations, and performance-related actions.
- Follow up with reporting managers regarding employee performance.
- Assist in implementing performance improvement plans where required.
- Monitor employee conduct and adherence to institutional policies.
5. Payroll & Attendance Coordination
- Coordinate with payroll/accounts teams for salary-related inputs.
- Verify attendance, leave, deductions, new joiners, exits, and salary changes.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate monthly HR inputs.
6. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory and employee-related records.
- Support compliance with applicable labour laws and institutional policies.
- Ensure completion and renewal of required employee documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
7. Exit & Disciplinary Processes
- Handle resignation, notice period, absconding, termination, and relieving processes as per company policy.
- Prepare and maintain relevant HR communication and documentation.
- Coordinate exit interviews and clearance/no-dues formalities.
- Support disciplinary actions in consultation with senior management.
Required Skills

Educational Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
Preferred Experience
- 4–7 years of relevant HR experience.
- Experience in schools, colleges, educational institutions, or multi-location organizations will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in handling both recruitment and HR operations will be preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
