Job Description – School Driver
Position: School Driver

Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive school buses/vans as per assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safe pick-up and drop-off of students and staff.
- Follow all traffic rules, school transport policies and safety guidelines.
- Conduct basic daily checks of the vehicle, including fuel, tyres, brakes, lights and other essential components.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, delays or maintenance requirements immediately to the concerned authority.
- Maintain required trip, fuel and vehicle-related records.
- Coordinate with the transport coordinator, attendants and school administration for smooth transportation operations.
Qualification & Experience
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Transport Driving Licence.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience; school bus experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Chennai routes and traffic conditions.
- Clean driving record and responsible attitude.
- Ability to handle students safely and professionally.
- Police verification and required background checks will be applicable.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
