Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer to drive business growth for Control Valves across the South India market. The ideal candidate must possess strong field sales experience in the industrial valves industry and have a solid understanding of control valves, process industries, and flow control applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand sales of control valves across assigned territories in South India.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads from industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water Treatment, Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Food Processing, and General Manufacturing.
- Meet EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, end users, and channel partners to promote products and solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable valve solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and customer visits.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, application, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Mandatory Requirements
- Prior experience in field sales of industrial valves/control valves is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of control valves, actuators, positioners, and valve applications.
- Hands-on experience selling to process industries and industrial customers.
- Existing customer network in the South India industrial market will be an added advantage.
- Ability to understand technical specifications, datasheets, and process requirements.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
Qualification
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
