An Air Conditioning (AC) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. They diagnose issues, perform routine servicing, clean and replace parts, check refrigerant levels, and ensure systems run efficiently and safely. The role often requires technical knowledge of HVAC systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with tools and electrical components.
Job Description-:
- Ensure smooth functioning and maintenance of all hotel engineering systems and equipment.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and mechanical equipment as assigned.
- Monitor and maintain hotel utilities, including DG sets, pumps, air-conditioning systems, lighting, and water supply systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest complaints related to engineering services.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with hotel standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and daily checklists.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors whenever required.
- Ensure energy conservation practices are followed within the department.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the engineering workshop and work areas.
- Assist in installation and repair works across the hotel premises.
- Support departmental objectives to achieve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
General Responsibilities-:
- Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
- Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times.
- Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management.
- Report for duty on time, wearing a clean and complete uniform at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
Qualifications-:
- Secondary / Higher Secondary School education.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or relevant technical trade.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hospitality or facility maintenance.
- Good reading and oral proficiency in English language.
- Basic computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
