Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our QA team at Indore (HO). The ideal candidate will have a background in Food Technology/ BSc./ MSc (Microbiology/ Biotechnology) or equivalent and relevant experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in wheat flour milling.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) of all manufacturing facilities.
- Conduct routine quality analysis for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits, customer inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Document and report deviations, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Train plant staff on hygiene practices, GMPs, and food safety protocols.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and lab teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Food Technology or related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a QA role in the food industry (experience in a wheat flour industry preferred).
- Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, FSSAI, GMP, and ISO 22000.
- Experience handling audit processes (internal, regulatory, or third-party).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic QA documentation systems.
Preferred Certifications
- HACCP Certification, ISO 22000/Internal Auditor Certification
