Hiring: Senior Associate – Accounts, Tax & Audit
We are hiring a Senior Associate – Accounts, Tax & Audit for our CA and consulting firm.
The candidate will be responsible for handling and overseeing accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, audit support, reconciliations, and compliance-related work for multiple clients. This role is suitable for someone who has already worked in a CA firm environment and can manage assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review books of accounts for clients.
- Prepare GST workings and assist in filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliations.
- Prepare TDS workings, challans, returns, and related reconciliations.
- Assist in income tax return preparation, tax audit workings, and statutory audit assignments.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, debtor-creditor reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and expense analysis.
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports, financial statements, schedules, and compliance trackers.
- Coordinate with clients for data, documents, clarifications, and pending information.
- Support senior team members in audit, tax, and compliance assignments.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Guide junior associates and articles on routine accounting and compliance tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a CA firm or accounting / taxation role.
- Semi Qualified CA/ Inter CA / M.Com / B.Com candidates preferred.
- Practical knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, income tax, and audit documentation.
- Good command over Excel, Tally, Zoho Books, GST portal, and income tax portal.
- Ability to manage routine client work independently.
- Good communication, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Candidate should be disciplined, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Salary Range: ₹30,000 to ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience, skill set, and interview performance.
Location: Mumbai
Work Mode: Full-time, office-based
