Rubenius Interior Wellbeing is an interior design and build company delivering thoughtfully designed spaces across residential and commercial interiors. Our work focuses on creating functional, aesthetically refined and well-executed environments through an integrated design and execution approach.
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who can independently handle design projects from concept development through detailed design and execution coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from concept to execution across residential and commercial projects.
- Develop creative concepts, space planning, layouts, furniture concepts, material palettes and overall design schemes.
- Prepare and review detailed working drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, ceiling plans, flooring layouts and furniture drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, Project Managers, draftsmen, vendors and site teams.
- Conduct site visits and develop practical design solutions based on actual site conditions.
- Prepare design presentations and effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
- Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and accessories.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups and finishes to ensure they meet the approved design.
- Coordinate with the estimation and procurement teams to ensure design decisions are aligned with project budgets.
- Work closely with the execution team to ensure the design intent is correctly implemented at site.
- Identify and resolve design and detailing issues during execution.
- Manage design revisions and obtain timely client approvals.
- Ensure all design deliverables are completed within project timelines.
- Guide and mentor junior designers and draftsmen.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial interior design.
- Excellent knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and interior detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office.
- Knowledge of 3D visualization/rendering software will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong presentation and client communication skills.
- Good understanding of construction methods and practical site execution.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
- 6–10 years of relevant interior design experience.
- Experience handling both residential and commercial interior projects is preferred.
- Candidates with strong project portfolios and hands-on execution experience will be given preference.

We are looking for a designer who can conceptualize, design, detail and coordinate execution with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should have strong design sensibility, technical knowledge, client-handling skills and the ability to take ownership of projects from start to completion.
