Key Account Executive – Modern Trade

Role Summary
The Key Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing Modern Trade business across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The role involves managing relationships with regional and national retail chains, driving sales growth, ensuring product availability, and executing in-store visibility initiatives for Plum Goodness.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management
Manage relationships with key national and regional retail partners including Health & Glow, Reliance Retail, Metro, Nykaa, Apollo Pharmacy, Med Plus, More Retail, Spar and other regional chains
Work closely with category managers and store teams to strengthen brand presence and improve sell-through.
Business Expansion
Identify and onboard new regional chains and modern trade outlets across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Expand the distribution footprint and increase store penetration for Plum products.
Order Management & Supply
Ensure timely order collection, processing, and replenishment across all key accounts.
Coordinate with internal supply chain and warehouse teams to maintain consistent stock availability.
Track inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and ensure smooth replenishment.
People Management
Manage and guide a team of Beauty Advisors, Supervisors, and Merchandisers across assigned modern trade accounts.
Ensure optimal deployment of manpower across stores to drive sales and brand visibility for Plum Goodness.
Monitor daily store-level execution including product displays, shelf availability, and customer engagement.
Conduct regular training and briefing sessions for Beauty Advisors on product knowledge, promotions, and sales techniques.
Track team productivity, set performance expectations, and ensure achievement of store-level sales targets.
In-store Execution
Ensure strong in-store visibility, merchandising, and shelf placement for Plum products.
Support execution of promotions, product launches, and in-store activations.
Monitor planogram compliance and brand display standards.
Sales Performance & Reporting
Track account-wise sales performance and achieve monthly sales targets.
Share regular updates on sales trends, stock levels, and market insights.
Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to improve brand strategy.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in Modern Trade / Key Account Management in FMCG, Beauty, or Personal Care.
Experience managing national chains and regional retail accounts.
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and execution skills.
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth order fulfillment.
Willingness to travel across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
