Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist & Cashier role based in Tiruppur. The Receptionist & Cashier will greet and guide patients and visitors, manage incoming phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a neat and welcoming reception area. The role includes handling patient registrations, updating records, and supporting basic clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. As a cashier, the team member will collect payments, issue receipts, maintain daily cash/transaction records, and coordinate with the accounts or administration team as needed. The person in this role will also assist with responding to patient queries, directing them to the appropriate staff, and ensuring clear, courteous communication at all times.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong receptionist and front-desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and Clerical Skills.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities, including Communication and Customer Service skills.
- Candidates should have professional Phone Etiquette and the ability to handle multiple calls and queries efficiently.
- Basic numeracy skills and experience handling cash, billing, or point-of-sale systems are preferred.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Ability to use computers and basic office software (e.g., MS Office, hospital/clinic management systems) is beneficial.
- Minimum educational qualification: higher secondary or equivalent; additional training in office administration or healthcare support is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional behavior with patients and colleagues.
