QA Automation Tester (1–2 Years Experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Tester with 1–2 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and create test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand application functionality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or other automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar testing frameworks.
- Understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with Git version control.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
