We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with hands-on experience in the CodeIgniter Framework to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and web application development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter Framework.
- Design and develop clean, reusable, and efficient code following MVC architecture.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Develop and optimize MySQL databases, queries, and stored procedures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver robust applications.
- Implement security best practices to protect web applications from vulnerabilities.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain proper technical documentation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with the CodeIgniter Framework.
- Experience in developing enterprise-level web applications is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, responsive web design, and frontend integration.
- Understanding of MVC architecture, object-oriented programming (OOP), and software design principles.
- Basic knowledge of Linux server environments and web hosting is an advantage.
