About Us:
We are an Industrial Automation & Robotics company specializing in Line Automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), and custom machine building. We are looking for a skilled Senior Design Engineer who can independently handle machine design and contribute to end-to-end project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Line Automation systems, SPMs, jigs, fixtures, and assembly lines.
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
- Handle concept design, detailing, and complete project design execution.
- Prepare BOMs, GA drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and component selection.
- Work closely with electrical, controls, and production teams for design integration.
- Support assembly, trials, debugging, and commissioning.
- Identify design improvements for cost, performance, and manufacturability.
Requirements:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Automation / Line Automation / SPM machine design.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (assemblies, weldments, sheet metal) and AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of machine elements, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in pneumatics, actuators, motors, and automation components selection.
- Ability to independently handle design projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to robot-based automation systems.
- Basic understanding of PLC integration and automation workflow.
- Experience in cycle time optimization and layout planning.
