Job Summary
The Banquet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and organizing banquet events, ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after each event. The role involves liaising with clients, banquet staff, kitchen teams, and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all banquet and event requirements with clients and internal departments.
- Prepare banquet event orders (BEOs) and communicate event details to concerned teams.
- Assist in planning and organizing weddings, conferences, meetings, and social events.
- Ensure banquet halls and event venues are set up according to client requirements.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office departments for event execution.
- Monitor event operations to ensure quality service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain event records, contracts, and billing documentation.
- Conduct pre-event briefings with banquet staff.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Prepare post-event reports and collect guest feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in banquet operations or event coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Customer-focused with a professional appearance and attitude.
