Position Overview:
SCAD World School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Biology. We are looking for an individual with a strong commitment to teaching and a deep understanding of biological sciences to motivate and guide our students towards academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to CBSE curriculum standards.
- Teach Biology at the senior secondary level, focusing on both theoretical concepts and practical experiments.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through diverse methods, including tests, projects, and practical assessments.
- Provide mentorship and support for students, aiding in their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational environment and participate in school-wide initiatives.
- Stay updated on recent advancements in Biology and innovative teaching practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Biology or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Desirable Qualities:
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and fostering student success.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Familiarity with educational technologies and tools to enhance learning experiences.
