Full job description

The Project Engineer is responsible for end-to-end execution tracking of AV/ELV projects maintaining live project visibility through Zoho and Gantt charts, coordinating onsite with clients and the PMO, mentoring junior engineers, and handling technical prestaging, programming, and troubleshooting of AV control and DSP systems.

Key responsibilities

Project Tracking & Governance

Publish and maintain a client-shareable Gantt chart in Zoho for every project within agreed timelines
Update Zoho daily so the team has live, independent visibility into project progress without needing to ask
Participate in and ensure integrity of weekly (Thursday) data audits across all projects
Drive on-time project delivery and effective resource management
Follow QA/QC checklists with due diligence on every project
Ensure technical design and engineering accuracy throughout execution

Onsite Coordination

Act as the backend link between onsite execution, PMO, and the client
Prepare and share daily reports and status PPTs with stakeholders
Keep all project documentation and Zoho records current and audit-ready
Maintain strong client communication to ensure satisfaction across all touchpoints and stakeholders

Team Development

Train and mentor junior project engineers on project management practices and Zoho platform usage

Technical Execution – Prestaging & Programming

Carry out prestaging and basic-level programming and troubleshooting of AV systems
Configure and troubleshoot DSP platforms (Biamp Tesira, QSC, BSS)
Configure Cisco networking equipment as required for AV/IT integration
Program and troubleshoot control systems at a basic level (Crestron, Extron, Cue)

Required Qualifications & Certifications

Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field
