Job Description:
Automation QA Engineer to contribute to the test automation efforts across the restaurant and digital technology stacks. The QA Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with the engineering teams and evangelize automation techniques with other QA engineers.
Key Skills:
Develop and maintain automation framework(s) across multiple projects and platforms (mobile & web)
Automate & Execute Test Cases and Test Suites
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze different types of test automation issues/failures
Exposure to development builds using Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
Ability to work independently
Experience preparing defect reports and defect metrics, preferably automated
Experience preparing test automation status for different stakeholders
Exposure to Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
Experience analyzing business requirements and functional specifications
Good communication skills
Collaborate with QA leadership to architect, establish and evolve QA processes, ensuring that the team is using QA best practices
Ensure all projects meet both functional and non-functional requirements and map to QA test cases
Partner closely with the engineering teams to replicate and resolve issues
Desired Qualification:
Minimum 7 years industry experience, preferably in an Agile development environment
Minimum 3 years of experience with Mobile automation (iOS and Android), Appium
Minimum 3 years of experience testing microservices (automation preferred with Karate)
Minimum 2 years of Java (preferably Spring Framework) development.
Experience in testing eCommerce websites
Experience with test tool sets/frameworks - Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium web driver, Maven
Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium Web driver with Nodejs and JAVA)
Version control tools - Jenkins, Maven, Git
Experience with executing tests on cloud platforms such as BrowserStack, SauceLabs
Experience working with databases and various data formats and related technologies for testing.
Experience with defect tracking tools (PractiTest, JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)

Splunk
Karate Framework
