Core Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to all inpatients, achieving optimal clinical outcomes.
- Lead the design, implementation, and periodic review of individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Oversee nursing, therapy, and dietary interventions to ensure alignment with patient care objectives and holistic health outcomes.
- Conduct regular clinical rounds and ensure early identification, escalation, and management of complications or patient deterioration.
- Coordinate with primary physicians and specialists, ensuring bi-weekly updates on patient progress and collaborative decision-making.
- Maintain transparent, empathetic, and consistent communication with patient families regarding health status, prognosis, and care plans.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation across the continuum of care (admission, care planning, discharge, and mortality).
- Provide 24/7 tele-support and escalation guidance to the nursing team for patient-related emergencies.
- Certify pre-employment medical fitness of healthcare and homecare staff, ensuring workforce health and readiness.
- Actively contribute to monthly preventive health programs and community health awareness initiatives in senior living communities.
2. Administrative & Managerial Responsibilities
- Design and deliver regular training, upskilling, and continuous education programs for medical and nursing staff to strengthen clinical competencies.
- Lead and participate in internal and external clinical audits, implementing quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of medical and allied health professionals, ensuring a high-caliber clinical workforce.
- Address and resolve clinical, medical, or ethical disciplinary concerns within the team in collaboration with the Medical Directorate and Corporate HR.
- Drive the adoption, standardization, and compliance of organization-wide care protocols, clinical guidelines, and SOPs.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, accreditation standards (NABH/JCI), and statutory obligations, ensuring zero non-compliance.
- Support strategic clinical planning, resource allocation, and budget management in alignment with organizational goals.
- Serve as the clinical voice in executive leadership forums, contributing to business strategy, patient engagement, and service line expansion.
3. Strategic & Community Engagement
- Champion innovation in care delivery, including telemedicine, digital health tools, and geriatric-focused interventions.
- Build strong external networks with healthcare institutions, academic bodies, and industry forums to enhance the organization’s clinical reputation.
- Act as a thought leader by contributing to publications, conferences, and knowledge forums on geriatric medicine and integrated care.
- Engage actively with residents and families in senior living communities to promote preventive health, wellness, and lifestyle initiatives.

Pay: ₹39,812.27 - ₹110,278.53 per month
