Hiring: Electrical EPLAN Design Engineer
Location: Chennai / Sunguvachthiram
Experience: 2–6 Years
Industry: Industrial Automation / Control Panel / EPC
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics using EPLAN (Electric P8)
- Preparation of control panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Selection of electrical components (PLC, HMI, VFD, relays, breakers, etc.)
- Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, IS, etc.)
- Coordinate with project, production, and commissioning teams
- Support in troubleshooting and design modifications
Requirements:
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / EEE / Instrumentation
- Hands-on experience in EPLAN Electric P8 software
- Strong knowledge of control panel design & industrial automation
- Familiarity with PLC systems, MCC panels, PCC panels
- Understanding of electrical schematics and standards
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in EPC / automation projects
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical (added advantage)
- Exposure to international standards
