Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in delivering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure Entra (formerly Azure AD), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with project management capabilities to lead MFA/SSO rollouts, engage with application stakeholders, assess integration feasibility, and coordinate with SMEs to enable secure authentication frameworks across enterprise applications.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Microsoft 365 and Azure Entra MFA/SSO implementation projects.
- Engage with application owners and stakeholders to assess feasibility for SSO/MFA integration.
- Drive onboarding of applications for SSO enablement using SAML and OpenID Connect.
- Implement and manage Conditional Access policies within Microsoft Entra.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and IAM teams for seamless integration.
- Manage project lifecycle activities including planning, backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, and periodic reporting.
- Ensure adherence to cyber security standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Provide status updates, risk mitigation plans, and stakeholder communication at leadership level.
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with 3+ years in Technical Project Management.
- Hands-on experience delivering MFA rollouts using Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of:
- Conditional Access Policies
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Authentication frameworks (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth)
- Experience in Infrastructure and Security projects including:
- Endpoint Security
- Vulnerability Management
- Identity & Access Governance
- Strong grounding in Cyber Security concepts (resilience, network security, data governance).
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (SAFe® preferred).
- Experience in backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint ceremonies, and periodic reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- CISSP / CISM (preferred)
- SAFe® Agilist or relevant Agile certification
- Microsoft Security or Azure certifications (added advantage)
