A Senior Structural Designer supports engineers by creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for concrete and steel structures, generating material take-offs, and ensuring designs meet specifications, typically requiring 8+ years of experience and strong skills in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SmartPlant 3D. The person in this position will work closely with Structural Engineers in a multi-discipline environment to manage design responsibilities and to resolve design related issues associated with the project.

Produce 3D models in Revit or Advanced Steel or Smart plant 3D. Generate 2D drawings from 3D model.

Prepare the 2D drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Develop the 2D drawings of structure/foundation plans, sections, elevations as per engineer design sketches. Develop the details as per engineer design.

Prepare the material take-off from 3D models and/or drawings.

Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts.

College certification or BS (preferred but not required) in Civil Engineering specialized on structural engineering.

Minimum of 1-3 years of design and drafting experience in Structural Engineering.

Experience in 2D and 3D designs for concrete foundation, concrete structure, steel structure with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or Smartplant 3D.

Excellent communication skills in French, ability to maintain confidential information critical.

Ability to work independently and collaboration with other disciplines.
