ob Title: Odoo Functional ConsultantJob Summary
We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and implement Odoo ERP solutions that align with client needs. The consultant will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring successful configuration, customization, and delivery of Odoo modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client business processes and translate them into Odoo functional requirements
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and prepare functional specification documents (FSD)
- Configure Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, CRM, etc.
- Coordinate with Odoo developers for customizations and integrations
- Perform system testing, UAT support, and ensure solution quality
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support
- Manage change requests and ensure solutions meet business objectives
- Support data migration and system deployment activities
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Odoo best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field
- 2–6+ years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or ERP Consultant
- Strong understanding of Odoo business workflows and configurations
- Experience working with Odoo versions (Community or Enterprise)
- Ability to write clear functional and process documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional and technical teams
Preferred Skills
- Odoo certification(s) (Functional / Accounting / Inventory, etc.)
- Domain experience in Accounting, Manufacturing, Retail, or Supply Chain
- Basic understanding of Odoo technical concepts (Python, XML, workflows)
- Experience with ERP implementations and client-facing projects
- Knowledge of Agile or project management methodologies
