The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and servicing of medical and diagnostic equipment. The role involves ensuring proper functioning of biomedical devices, providing technical support to customers, and coordinating with internal teams for efficient service operations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and commission biomedical and diagnostic equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of instruments.
- Conduct equipment calibration and performance checks as per company standards.
Technical Support
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in medical devices and laboratory instruments.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
- Coordinate with application and sales teams during product demonstrations and installations.
Customer Coordination
- Train users and laboratory staff on proper equipment handling and basic maintenance.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of customer complaints/service calls.
- Maintain good relationships with hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare professionals.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
- Update service logs and submit reports to management regularly.
- Monitor spare parts usage and coordinate inventory requirements.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
