JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FABRICATORS
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, hoppers, chutes, ducts, platforms, and equipment supports.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and welding activities as per drawings and specifications.
- Carry out repairs and modifications to plant equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical sketches.
- Assist maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and plant shutdowns.
- Ensure all fabrication work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Follow plant safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Prepare and maintain fabrication records, job completion reports, and material consumption logs.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Fabrication, Fitter, Welding, Mechanical Trade, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–5 years of fabrication experience in manufacturing or process industries.
- Hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance and fabrication practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
