Job Purpose
To provide an exceptional shopping experience by assisting customers in selecting jewellery products, achieving sales targets, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring high standards of customer service and showroom presentation.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable jewelry products.
- Explain product features, quality, purity, pricing, making charges, and offers.
- Build customer confidence through excellent product knowledge and honest guidance.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Promote cross-selling and upselling of jewelry, diamonds, silver, and accessories.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain thorough knowledge of gold, diamond, platinum, silver, and gemstone jewellery.
- Stay updated on new collections, trends, promotional schemes, and company policies.
- Clearly explain jewellery care, maintenance, and warranty information to customers.
Billing & Documentation
- Coordinate with the billing team for accurate invoicing.
- Verify customer details for invoices and loyalty programs.
- Assist customers with exchange, buyback, repair, and customization procedures as per company policy.
Showroom Maintenance
- Ensure jewellery displays are neat, attractive, and fully stocked.
- Handle jewellery carefully while displaying and returning items.
- Maintain cleanliness and visual merchandising standards in the showroom.
- Report damaged or missing items immediately.
Inventory & Stock
- Assist in daily opening and closing stock verification.
- Support periodic stock audits and inventory counts.
- Ensure proper handling and security of jewellery during customer demonstrations.
Customer Relationship Management
- Collect customer information for follow-up and future marketing activities.
- Contact existing customers regarding new collections, festivals, offers, and special events.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and positive shopping experiences.
Compliance & Security
- Follow all showroom security procedures.
- Comply with company policies, attendance rules, grooming standards, and code of conduct.
- Protect confidential customer and company information.
- Follow anti-fraud and loss prevention procedures.
Teamwork
- Coordinate with Sales Heads, Cashiers, Inventory, and Customer Service teams.
- Support colleagues during peak business hours and promotional events.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and product demonstrations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Prior jewellery retail experience is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Working Conditions
- Retail showroom environment.
- Rotational weekly off.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexible to work during weekends, public holidays, and festival seasons.
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time based on business requirements.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
