That’s where the Head of People & Culture comes in —a strategic thinker and culture builder who can help shape Ugaoo’s next phase of growth. This role will work closely with the Founder and leadership team to design an organization that’s not just high-performing, but also deeply human.
You’ll lead our people strategy — focusing on culture, organizational design, leadership development, and creating systems that enable people to do their best work every day.
What You’ll Own:

Culture & Employee Experience: Nurture a workplace culture that reflects our values — passion, accountability, curiosity, and care. Build rituals, programs, and conversations that keep our people connected and inspired.

Organization Design: Partner with leadership to design scalable structures, define clear roles, and create an agile org that supports our fast-paced growth.

Leadership Development: Coach and develop managers to lead with empathy, clarity, and accountability.

People Strategy: Align people priorities with business goals — from talent management and performance to learning and succession planning.

Change Management: Lead transformation projects with empathy and clarity, ensuring teams adapt smoothly to evolving business needs.

Employer Branding: Strengthen Ugaoo’s presence as an employer of choice for those who want to build meaningful, purpose-driven careers.

HR Operations Oversight: Ensure policies, systems, and people processes are efficient, compliant, and future-ready — without losing the human touch.
What You’ll Bring:

8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to culture-building, org design, and leadership development.

A culture-first mindset with the ability to craft and scale people systems that balance empathy with execution

Demonstrated success in building high-performance teams, coaching leaders, and enabling cross-functional alignment.

Deep capability in driving change, navigating ambiguity, and embedding people practices that evolve with the business.

Strong storytelling and communication skills — someone who can inspire, influence, and drive cultural clarity across levels.

A strategic viewpoint paired with the agility to go hands-on when needed.

A future-focused approach to HR tech, analytics, and talent insights to enable data-backed decision-making.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, or Business Administration (mandatory)
- Master’s degree in HR / MBA (HR) / Organizational Development (mandatory)
- Additional certifications in Organizational Design, Coaching, Talent Strategy, Change Management, or Leadership Development will be an advantage
