Responsibilities
- Interpret Technical Documents: Read, understand, and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Material Preparation: Measure, mark, and lay out cutting lines on materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Fabrication and Cutting: Operate fabrication machinery, including shears, press brakes, saws (band, chop), plasma cutters, and grinders, to cut and shape materials to the required dimensions.
- Welding and Assembly: Assemble and join components using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and fastening methods (bolting, riveting).
- Finishing: Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, sanding, deburring, and polishing to ensure products meet quality and aesthetic standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, square gauges) to ensure all parts and assemblies meet strict tolerances and quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure they are in safe and efficient working order. Report any malfunctions or needs for repair.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, procedures, and policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. A vocational or technical degree in welding or fabrication is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Fabricator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and/or Stick (SMAW)
- Hands-on experience operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, rollers, and saws.
- Solid understanding of metal properties and characteristics.
- Excellent mathematical skills, including geometry and measurement calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials, often up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Requires good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and physical strength.
- The work environment is a workshop/manufacturing setting and may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, and welding helmets, is required and will be provided.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
