About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who can take ownership of our wedding film post-production process, manage large volumes of footage, lead the editing team, and ensure every project is delivered within the committed deadline.
The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling and editing skills, excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and the ability to work independently while leading a team from the front.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the video editing team and oversee projects from footage organization to final delivery.
- Handle and organize large volumes of wedding footage efficiently.
- Review, sort and manage footage from multiple cameras and events.
- Create cinematic wedding films, highlight films, reels and other social media content.
- Maintain a high standard of storytelling, pacing, music selection and overall visual quality.
- Take ownership of project timelines and ensure all edits are delivered within deadlines.
- Assign work to junior editors and interns and monitor their progress.
- Review team members' edits and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate with the cinematography and management teams to understand project requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Maintain proper file organization, project structures and backup practices.
- Handle revisions professionally and ensure final deliverables meet company standards.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, wedding filmmaking styles and social media formats.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, particularly colour grading.
- Experience in wedding films, cinematic films or similar storytelling-based video production is preferred.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, music and emotional sequencing.
- Ability to work with large amounts of footage and multiple camera sources.
- Excellent time management and deadline-management skills.
- Ability to lead, train and manage junior editors.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred
- Experience working with professional wedding cinematography footage.
- Knowledge of advanced colour grading and cinematic workflows.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels and short-form wedding content.

- Strong understanding of professional post-production workflows.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
