Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Procurement Manager to manage end-to-end purchasing operations, vendor relationships, cost optimization, and timely material availability. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement expertise, commercial negotiation skills, and mandatory hands-on experience with Zoho Inventory.
Experience & Qualifications
- Graduation is mandatory
- MBA preferred in Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or a related field
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchase, or Supply Chain
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Inventory is mandatory
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, procurement reporting, and MIS
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage reliable vendors and suppliers
- Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules
- Raise, manage, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely material delivery
- Compare quotations and select vendors based on price, quality, service, and commercial terms
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment
- Coordinate with Accounts, Operations, Stores, Sales, and other teams for procurement requirements
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, vendor details, POs, invoices, and procurement documentation
- Use Zoho Inventory for purchase-order creation, stock tracking, vendor management, and inventory monitoring
- Prepare procurement MIS, spend analysis, vendor-performance reports, and purchase reports
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve procurement processes
- Resolve vendor issues related to delivery delays, shortages, quality concerns, and pricing discrepancies
- Ensure procurement activities comply with approved budgets, internal policies, and documentation processes
