Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations.
- Diagnose eye diseases and vision disorders.
- Perform cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, squint, oculoplasty, and other eye surgeries (depending on specialization).
- Prescribe medications, eye drops, and treatment plans.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as OCT, Fundus, Visual Field, B-Scan, Pachymetry, and Corneal Topography.
- Manage emergency eye conditions and trauma cases.
- Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgery, and postoperative care.
- Monitor patient recovery through follow-up consultations.
- Refer patients to subspecialists when required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
- Supervise and guide optometrists, nurses, and ophthalmic technicians.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Participate in community eye screening camps and awareness programs.
- Keep updated with the latest ophthalmology techniques, technology, and clinical guidelines.
- Support NABH and quality improvement initiatives.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹2,500.00 per day
